Toys need something to help them go. Look at our four toys. What do you notice? What do you think each one needs?
3 - Toy Station Play ~13 mins
First we all try the torch together. Then you will go to a spot to try the toys. Try your toy gently, and watch your friends too. Be ready to show or say: wind, switch, or push.
4 - What Did We Notice? ~5 mins
Come back to the circle. Which toy did we try? Show us with your hands: wind, switch, or push. What made the toy go?
5 - Make-sense Talk ~3 mins
Different toys start in different ways. Some we wind. Some we switch on. Some we push.
Point to a toy. Is it wind, switch, or push? Which of our toys would you like to play with, and how does it go?
