Close your eyes for a moment. What can you still hear? What can you still feel?
Our bodies have special ways of finding things out. Today we will meet five of them, one at a time.
2 - Our Five Senses ~2 mins
Our bodies find out about the world in special ways.
Which body part do you think we use to smell?
3 - Point to the Parts ~3 mins
Look at the child on the board. We will place one body part at a time for each sense. When we name a sense, point to that part on the board figure, then point to the same part on your own body.

4 - Exploring One Sense at a Time ~11 mins
We will meet one sense at a time on the carpet. A few friends will try each kit while we all watch, listen and say what we notice together.
5 - What Did We Notice? ~2 mins
Turn to the friend beside you on the carpet.
Think back to when the feely-bag and the fruit went round. Tell your partner one thing you noticed with a sense today.
